iTunes 9.1 Release Seems Imminent

According to MacRumors, Apple is expected to release iTunes 9.1 on April 3rd, the same day as iPad’s US launch date. This new version of iTunes will bring support
Four made-for-iPhone headsets from Sony
Sony has introduced four new sets of earphones designed for the iPod/iPhone: Three earbud and one over-the-ear style.
Engadget reports that only the MDR-EX38iP ($39.99 USD, pictured) is available now.
The other three models — the DR-EX300iP ($99.99 USD), MDR-E10iP (No price given), and the DR-V150iP ($39.99 USD) — are expected to be released in May.
Watch Facebook Videos on iPhone and iPad
The official Facebook app for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad currently doesn’t support playing videos natively. Well as they say that there is an app for just about anything, and now so is the case for playing Facebook videos as well.
Facebook Video Player is a handy application which allows you to play videos on Facebook which has been uploaded by you, or others in Facebook video format.
It’s a very neat add-on which makes viewing videos a breeze, right from the comfort of your iPhone.

James Cameron says watching films on an iPhone is “dumb”
At a press conference where he spoke about the April release of the Blu-ray edition of his latest film, James Cameron said watching Avatar on the iPhone would be “dumb.” More specifically he said, “I don’t feel that I’m making movies for iPhones.
If someone wants to watch it on an iPhone, I’m not going to stop them, especially if they’re paying for it, but I don’t recommend it. I think it’s dumb, when you have characters that are so small in the frame that they’re not visible.”
So how should we watch Avatar according to the “King of the World?” He wants us to shell out for the Blu-ray 3D version coming out in November 2010, and then, “If you’re going to go 3D, go big. Get the biggest set you can, and then sit as close as you can stand. That’s my advice. Get the coffee table out of the way and slide the couch over, right in front of the TV.” Right.
Should iPad Apps Be Free For Existing iPhone App Users?
When Steve Jobs unveiled the iPad at the YBCA on January 27th, one of the significant revelations made was that the iPad could seamlessly accomodate all the existing iPhone apps on the App Store.
In other words, iPad users who have already purchased an application for their iPhone need not have to pay for it on the iPad.
