Adobe today upgraded Lightroom to version 5.7, bringing a variety of brand-new attributes including a built-in importer tool for users moving their content from Aperture and iPhoto. The update complies with the launch of a separate plugin last month which contained similar functionality. The update also allows users to watch comments and feedback from collections on Lightroom’s internet user interface and contains bug repairs.

Adobe has also upgraded its Cam Raw plugin to version 8.7, bringing RAW file style assistance in Photoshop and Lightroom for cams like the Canon EOS 7D Mark II, Fujifilm X100T, and the Samsung NX1. The upgrade also includes brand-new lens accounts for Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.Adobe Lightroom

5.7 is a free upgrade for existing users and can be downloaded with the “Assistance”area in Lightroom. Adobe Cam Raw 8.7 could be downloaded and install via the “Assistance”part in Photoshop.
