Apple forces Q2 2016 profits call livestream to April 26

[UPDATE: Apple has stated that its thinking for slowing the profits call is due to the funeral service for former panel member and technology image Bill Campbell, who died this week.]

Apple today has updated its investor relationships site to replicate that its second-quarter earnings call may currently occur on Wednesday, April 26th. Formerly, the organization had stated that it’d contain the call on Friday, May 25st.

At this time, it’s uncertain why Apple transformed the day of the call, but it’s probably not really a huge deal. The call may nevertheless occur at 2PM PT/5PM ET, as the real earnings release must fall half an hour before the start of call.

Apple initially unveiled the day because of its Q2 earnings call last month on its investor relations website. Regardless of the change in day, the call it’s still live-streamed on Apple’s site and may record profits for that three-month interval that finished in March. Apple will require concerns in the push in addition to traders throughout the call.

Last-quarter Apple documented $75.9b in income, $18.4b in earnings, 74.8m iPhones sold, 16.1m iPads sold, and 5.3m Apples sold. As normal, the organization didn’t bust out Apple Watch revenue for competing factors.
