Michael Simmons of Flexibits noted earlier today that the App Store no longer permits clients to re-install or upgrade returned App Store apps.
A mistake message now informs customers when they attempt:
Update Not available with This Apple ID
This update is not readily available for this Apple ID either considering that it was purchased by a different individual or the thing was reimbursed and canceled.
While Apple has never had an automatic way to obtain refunds for applications, Apple does enable individuals to “State a Problem” on their investments and alternatives include methods to obtain a refund.
In the past, clients were enabled to continue updating and reinstalling apps also if they were provided a refund on the price of the application. This new performance has additionally been encompassed the Mac App Store.
