As we reported earlier this month, Apple today has upgraded its online site with deeper integration with its visit scheduling services for the Genius Bar and in-store workshops. This modification comes not far after the Apple Online Store was heavily incorporated throughout the entire online site, continuing Apple’s efforts to consolidate its physical retailers, online store, and primary website.

Apple’s combined appointment scheduling service is being referred to as the “Concierge” and is deeply integrated into individual Apple Retail Store pages with today’s update, versus it previously being its own website. Also as part of today’s updates, the Workshop providings have been consolidated into categories. There is a “Showcased” category, along with categories for “Discover,” “Arrange,” “Produce,” and “Business.” This separation into classifications will certainly make it simpler for consumers to find Workshops that interest them.

Apple’s brand-new Concierge system is likewise more enhanced for users with visual or hearing impairments. On the mobile side, the user interface of Apple’s retail store consultation scheduling has also been refreshed with a brand-new, easier category-based interface.
