iphone6-ios-setup-helloApple has released a new help file on its web site that summarizes a fix for consumers encountering an unresponsive “Slide to Update” display after upgrading to iOS 9 (via iPhoneHacks).

The problem has changed an increasing amount of users to the Apple Help Communities, MacRumors forum and societal media.

Apple advocates restoring your device from an iTunes backup to solve the issue.

1. Connect your iOS device to open I-tunes and your pc.

2. Choose your device. Pressure restart your device before you see the Apple symbol by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake and House button for at least 10 seconds if you don’t see it detailed.

3. Restore your device with that backup before upgrading to iOS 9 in the event that you created an iTunes backup of your device. Otherwise, you should create a backup of your device in iTunes, then restore from that backup.

Apple introduced iOS 9 on Wednesday for iPhone 4s or after, iPad 2 or later and the fifth-generation iPod touch or after.
