Cortana in Windows 10, is readied to provide all the functions that it serves for the Windows Phone OS. Pointers, Skype phone calls, including events to schedule, establishing alarm systems, inspecting location/ map, climate, launching apps etc., are all features that Microsoft intends to include for the desktop computer version of Cortana also.
