Today is Martin Luther Master Jr. Day, a day reserved in the US to recognize the accomplishments of the civil liberties leader and to bear in mind his role in the civil rights activity. Because of this, we are expanding our application evaluates to include numerous iBooks titles, starting with Parting the Waters, America in the King Years 1954 – 1963 by Taylor Branch.

Parting the Seas is the very first publication in Branch’s America in the Master Years collection, which informs the wider story of the American civil rights movement from 1954 to 1968.

Master’s increase to the management of this movement is described in the triumvirate, which blends biography with the political and cultural past from those turbulent years in the United States. Branch invested 24 years writing and exploring the publications and succeeded the 1989 Pulitzer Prize for History for the opening title, Parting the Waters.

Parting the Waters is offered from the iBookstore for US$ 17.99. The other two books, Column of Fire and At Canaan’s Side, are available for $ 12.99 and $ 14.99, specifically.
