Google today is rolling out an update to Google Maps on iOS that bumps the app to version 4.24 and brings a few useful new features for users. Now, users can more quickly order food from their favorite restaurants, as well as easily add photos of places from directly within the app and find plus codes for locations around the world.

First off, the update adds a new option to quickly order food directly from the app. As Google notes in the change log, the availability of this feature varies from city to city and country to country, but for most major cities you’ll see the new option.

For instance, if you search for a restaurant that works with one of the major online delivery services like GrubHub or EatStreet, you’ll see a new “Place an order” option in the details of the location. Tapping on that option will direct you to the website of the delivery service and allow you to quickly place an order.

Additionally, today’s Google Maps update makes it much easier to add photos of locations to the service. Below the existing images, there’s an “Add a photo” option that allows you to take a new image from directly within Google Maps or to upload a photo from your camera roll.

Finally, users can easily find plus codes for a location by dropping a pin. Plus codes essentially are identifiers for locations that don’t have their own street address. This functionality came to Android earlier this year.

The full change log can be seen below:

  • Order from food delivery services (limited availability based on country)
  • Streamlined taking and adding photos of places from inside Google Maps
  • Easily find plus codes by dropping a pin anywhere in the world
