iFixit tore down the Mac Propreviously today, providing the device a stellar 8 out 10 for repairability. This high score makes the Mac Pro the most repairable device in Apple’s present computer lineup. It conveniently vanquishes the iMac, which has a rating of 5 out of 10 and the 2013 Retina MacBook Pro which scores the cheapest possible 1 out of 10.
The highlight of teardown was the preciseness engineering that permitted Apple to develop a powerhouse, cylindrical desktop computer that stands a simple 9.9 inches high and is only 6.6 inches in diameter. Everything regarding the machine, also the fan module, is thoroughly designed. The supporter component was newest item revealed by iFixit and was found to house a tiny Flight terminal card, the fan itself and vibration dampening bumpers to minimize sound.
As noted originally by OWC, iFixit also confirms that the CPU in the Mac Pro is upgradeable. This would enable owners of the high-end machine to update this equipment as their needs change and modern technology boosts.
