Daylight Saving Time ended in several countries today, October 27th, and complains have started coming in about iOS 7 devices not handling the change in time correctly.

According to a thread on Apple’s discussion forums, iOS 7 is having issues in adjusting to DST in European countries like France and Slovenia. The issue, according to the forum posts, is reproducible on iOS 7.0.2 and iOS 7.0.3 on both the iPhone and iPad.

Not all users seem to be able to reproduce the issue, though, suggesting that the bug could be on the carrier’s end and not in iOS. One poster from UK notes that his iPhone on O2 didn’t adjust the time, while his Vodafone iPhone correctly adjusted to the change.

Some posters complained that even though their iPhone updated the time correctly, the Calendar app continued to show the old time, as shown in the screenshot below:

Daylight Saving Time bugs are, of course, not new to the iPhone. Similar issues were reported in 2012 and 2010, following which Apple had to issue a fix via a software update.
