Apple’s iPhone 5s is completely sold out on Apple’s Online Store in the U.S, the shipping estimates for the iPhone 5s now says “October” from 7-10 business days.

iPhone 5s went on sale in 10 countries on Friday, September 20. It was initially available in the U.S. with shipping estimates of 1-3 days, however the gold iPhone 5s was quickly sold out, and the shipping estimates of all the other models slipped to 7-10 business days.


According to MacRumors, the gold iPhone 5s was sold out within 28 minutes after launch in the U.S. The gold iPhone 5s also appeared to be available in very limited supply even at Apple’s retail stores and other third-party retailers.

Shipping estimates in other countries started with 7-10 business days. In case of Singapore and Hong Kong, the availability was even worse at launch, showing shipping estimates as October across all models.

On Friday, Apple had issued a statement saying that they are seeing unprecedented demand for the new iPhones and confirming that iPhone 5s models are either sold out or in limited supply.

The only way to get an iPhone 5s in September would be to visit a local Apple retail store, your carrier’s store or Apple Authorized reseller as they would be getting some stock of the new iPhones on a daily basis.

Meanwhile, availability of all iPhone 5c models is very good, and will ship within 24 hours.
