Metal detectors apparently being installed at WWDC as Tim Cook admits Orlando disaster

A tweeted picture proposes that Apple is installing metal detectors at the entry to WWDC for the very first time, as CEO Tim Cook tweeted a note meant for the victims and families of the Orlando capturing.

The added security – an initial for a WWDC occasion – will probably be in reaction to the most fatal mass shooting in recent history, a gunman killing 49 individuals and injuring more than 50 others in a homosexual club in Orlando over the week end.
