MOS Kick

Device developers like to occupy a difficulty, which should be the reason that the people at MOS in Orem, Utah came up with the MOS Kick (US$ 25 promise). The idea was to create an iPhone 6 and 6 Plus stand that can quickly fit in a pocket, yet be tough enough to permit you make the effort lapse and slo-mo videos that these new apples iphone doing this well. MOS Kick is a Kickstarter project now that’s 59 percent moneyed with 15 days to go, and I’m best regards really hoping that this blog post pushes the project better to its financing objective.

The very first point that attacks you when you view a MOS Kick is exactly how tiny it is, and the 2nd – when you pick it up – is just how well built it is.

The secret to the MOS Kick is a little stations into which you position your iPhone. It’s huge enough to deal with an iPhone 6 Plus in a slim instance, padded to make sure that it doesn’t scrape your favorite phone, and features a small knurled knob on the back to make sure that you can tighten up the stations to hold your iPhone firmly.

There’s a small triangular “opening” ahead right into which you could thread a key ring or carabiner, a threaded opening so that MOS Kick can be affixed to a tripod, a bottle screw (appears to be prominent nowadays …) as well as a tiny level head screwdriver.

Every one of this is constructed out of quite solid steel, with some silicone rubber pads put into the “mandible” of the channel that holds your iPhone.

The MOS Kick holds your iPhone 6 or 6 Plus – or actually any kind of mobile phone – at an angle of plus or minus 10° & deg; depending on how you put it into the network. When I initially gave it a try, I questioned it would certainly have the ability to get onto my iPhone 6 Plus furnished with a Tech21 Classic Covering instance. I rejoice to state I was wrong – I merely needed to unscrew the “mouth” somewhat to approve the slightly wider situation, then tighten it as much as hold the case and iPhone.

Just how does the MOS Kick deal with a tripod? If you have a tripod or quick-release install with a conventional 1/4-inch 20 UNC thread on the top, simply screw the MOS Kick into it and your iPhone is now sturdily installed on your tripod.

The screwdriver will help in a dash with flat-head screws, and the bottle opener functions just great, thank you. Not that I examined it on a beer container or anything …

MOS Kick is a low-cost and very flexible stand that will certainly work with any sort of iPhone; also the impressive iPhone 6 Plus. If you’ve been putting off acquiring a stand/tripod adapter for your iPhone, do not wait any longer – back this task on Kickstarter. MOS Kick is the Glif of 2015!
