Apple’s retail store in the Easton Town Center in Columbus Ohio is moving to a new location in the mall. According to ifoAppleStore, Apple will leave its location next to American Eagle Outfitters and will take over the spot of the former Limited store. The new site is being renovated and is blocked by a black construction barricade. Apple is expected to move into the location by the end of the year.

The new store will replace the original Easton Town Center store which opened in 2001. The vintage store sports a classic design that features two backlit Apple logos on either side of the entrance. The black stone and brick exterior sharply contrasts with the mostly-glass design of Apple’s recent stores. The store has a less-than-pleasant history with both a robbery and a deadly shooting reported at the location.
