Last month Pandora introduced that it obtained “crucial resources” and workers from Rdio for $75 million. Today, Rdio started contacting its customers to tell them that it’d formally turn off on December 22, 2015 at 5 p.m. PST.

Rdio will even allow its former customers download an archive of the preferred audio and playlists in a variety of platforms so they may transfer them to their audio loading support of preference. The support also created a schedule which allows customers to determine their “existence on Rdio”, including a personis most-played tune and recording and the very first playlist they produced.
