Syfy is bringing the classic 12 Apes sci-fi thriller to TV in a new collection that will supply an immersive lights experience for iOS device owners with a Philips Color lights system. For the initial time ever in a TV series, audiences will be able to sync their house illumination to the action within each episode of the Syfy original series.
Syfy updated its iOS Sync app earlier this year with support for Philips Shade before the re-airing of Sharknado and the launching of Sharknado 2. The system needs users to install the Syfy Sync 2nd display application [Direct Link] to make it possible for the feature.Starting with the series beginning on Friday, January 16 at 9pm ET/PT, 12 Monkeys fans who couple the Syfy Sync application for phones and tablets with Philips Color light bulbs while viewing the program will be treated to a particularly designed” light track”– weding the activity on the display to the lighting in your room– which will include a heightened engagement through a much more immersive viewing encounter. When combined, the app will detect audio hints from 12 Monkeys and equate them to the Web-enabled Shade system. Fans will then be enveloped in the onscreen action through ambient lights impacts developed to engage audiences in a completely special way.Syfy will provide this immersive illumination in all 13 episodes of 12 Monkeys beginning in mid-January.The very first episode will certainly air Friday, January 16 at 9pm ET/PT.
