Well-known iOS hacker “iH8snow” published a brand-new YouTube video last night displaying the very first untethered jailbreak for the as-of-yet-unreleased iOS 9. The modified iPhone 5 is running the GM construct of the software application, which will be launched to the general public on Wednesday.

iH8sn0w says that the jailbreak shown in the video, is “dirty and hacky,” but nonetheless a “appropriate jailbreak,” which he validated likewise works on the iOS 9.1 beta, though that’s not shown in the video.

Unfortunately for users who may be wishing to get their tweaks up and running on the current os quickly, iH8sn0w says he doesn’t have any plans to release this software. Nevertheless, considering that the video shows that it’s possible to develop an untethered iOS 9 jailbreak, another developer might build and release one at some point after the release.

Until that occurs, however, iPhone owners who desire to keep their tweaks need to stay back on iOS 8.4. With iOS 9.1 beta presenting new emojis and improved performance, both which will definitely be a huge draw for numerous users, jailbreak developers might wish to hold off on launching anything up until that upgrade is launched as well.
