OS X Mavericks is here, and with it comes Apple’s all-new naming scheme for its software. Leaving cats behind, the company is instead focusing on locations in California for its software monikers. Mavericks, for example, is the name of a popular surf spot.

But as we’re all getting used to an OS X without feline flair, I think it’s time we look forward. So with that in mind — and following the California theme — I’ve compiled a number of possible names for Apple’s next OS X update.
