80+ Hidden iOS 11 Features For iPhone And iPad [List]

Here are all the 80+ hidden or secret iOS 11 features that didn’t get stage time during Apple’s WWDC 2017 opening keynote.

When Craig Federighi, Apple’s senior VP of Software Engineering sets foot on-stage at WWDC, you know something good is on the horizon. WWDC 2017 was no different, and while the opening keynote has now come to a close, the dust is starting to settle on yet another iOS revision that promises to bring lots, and lots of new features. As always, there were so many that Apple couldn’t detail them all during the announcement of iOS 11, but that doesn’t mean they are not there.

When Apple announced iOS 11, just as it did with previous announcements, the focus was on some key new features that not only make for a good demonstration, but capture the imagination of those watching. There are always many more changes that Apple doesn’t tell us about, or at least doesn’t make a big fuss of because while developers may find them fascinating, the press and fans at home do not. The irony is obvious here, considering this is a developer conference, but that’s a conversation for a different time.

What we are going to do in this post though, is give a voice to the little guy. We want to make sure everyone is heard, and no feature is left behind. For that reason, we are going to compile a running, always updated list of features that are part of iOS 11 but were not given stage time in San Jose. As we find more, we will add them, so be sure to check back regularly.
