Apple Reportedly Mixing CBS All Access, Showtime, and Apple TV+ Into A Single Bundle Soon

Apple is set to bring Apple TV+, CBS All Access, and Showtime all under a single subsdription according to a new Bloomberg report. The move could happen as soon as next week.

The report says that the new bundle could land on Monday, August 17 with Apple hoping to push more people to take advantage of Apple’s Channels feature within the Apple TV app.

The theory is that people subscribe to streaming services through the app, with all content available in a single place. However, adoption hasn’t been impressive by any stretch.

In terms of the new bundle it’s thought that Apple TV+, CBS All Access, and Showtime would all be available as a single $9.99 per month subscription. That would be a $5 saving for anyone who previously paid for the three services via a different method.

Starting as early as Monday, Apple TV+ subscribers will be able to access both the CBS and Showtime channels in Apple’s TV app for $9.99 per month combined. CBS All Access and Showtime normally cost $9.99 and $10.99 per month respectively, so the deal would be a significant savings.

Apple is also said to be launching more subscription services and bundles alongside the iPhone 12, with Apple TV+, Apple Music, and more potentially all coming under one banner with a discount available.
