Fortnite Jailbreak Detection Bypass For iOS 11.3.1 / 11.4 Electra Released

For a lot of people, jailbreaking is a wonderful thing. It allows them to have almost total control over an iPhone or iPad and gives them the freedom to install previously not allowed software and tweak and theme the device as much as they want. However, it does mean that jailbroken devices could be prevented from accessing popular apps or games if those developers have added jailbreak detection.

Fortnite, one of the most popular digital properties on the market at the moment, is one of those huge apps which comes with jailbreak detection, meaning that jailbreakers are instantly kicked out of the app and prevented from accessing the Fortnite servers.

Which, in turn, means that they cannot get involved in any of the gaming action and certainly cannot enjoy the battle royale experience. You can understand why companies like Epic Games would integrate this type of detection but it’s very annoying for gamers who aren’t using a jailbreak for any nefarious purposes.

However, the good news is that some industrious developer has actually come up with a package which instantly defeats the Epic Games’ Fortnite jailbreak detection, and lets the app run harmoniously without any knowledge that a jailbreak is even in place.

So, when Fortnite is running, and with this package installed, rather than crashing out back to the Home screen, Fortnite will actually go through its usual loading process and allow full and unfiltered access to the title. This definitely will not be pleasing to Epic Games who have spent time and resources putting this detection in place but will be classed as a triumph for the jailbreak community.

If you are jailbroken with latest Electra jailbreak, and you are a Fortnite gamer who wants to bypass detection, then you can grab the jailbreak detection bypass .deb file directly from the developer’s GitHub. It then needs to be installed to the jailbroken device and have the device rebooted to ensure that its effects take place in order to bypass the jailbreak detection. To get started, head over to the following URL: github.com/akusio/akusio.github.io.

If you are planning on installing this and playing Fortnite from a jailbroken device, then please do so with moral intent and ensure that you don’t cheat within the game and spoil the experience for other non-jailbroken device owners.
