GoPro app for iPhone & iPad gets wise modifying function to create & share clips

The official GoPro app for iPhone and iPad gets an upgrade today which brings a brand-new smart editing function to let users develop and share clips instantly from within the app. Previously users turned to third-party apps for comparable performance with GoPro electronic camera hardware.

The brand-new feature will let users immediately create edited variations of their videos that can be found in at 5, 15, or 30 seconds. You’ll be able to drag the timeline to pick exactly what 5, 15, or 30 second part of your video you want to isolate. Once you’ve chosen your clip, you’ll be able to immediately share to Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other social sharing options offered in the app.

The upgraded app, version 2.9, also receives an “enhanced video camera software application upgrade process” and a variety of bug repairs and other improvements.

You can grab the upgraded app for iPhone and iPad on the App Store now.
