iPhone 13 Lineup Features Exact Same Amount Of RAM Found In iPhone 12
Despite Apple’s new iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max being faster than the iPhone 12 versions that came before them, it appears that all models have the same amount of RAM.
According to Xcode strings reported by MacRumors, we now know that iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini will ship with 4GB of RAM inside, while those who buy iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max will benefit from an additional 2GB — those devices come with 6GB on board.
Both sets of iPhones also come with the A15 Bionic chip inside, although again the new iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max models have the advantage over iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini.
Apple’s higher-end versions come with an extra GPU core, giving them five rather than the four offered in the lower-end versions.
Apple’s new iPhones all go up for pre-order tomorrow, Friday September 17. The new devices will go on sale on Friday, September 24 alongside a new iPad and a refreshed iPad mini. The Apple Watch Series 7, also announced during Monday’s California Streaming event, won’t be available until later this fall.
