Apple is continuing its rollout of the Apple Watch to third-party resellers, big UK electrical chain Currys/PC World now revealing the Watch on its homepage as ‘‘ Coming Quickly.’ The chain is had by Dixons, whose previous CEO John Browett had a short and undesirable stint as head of retail at Apple before parting ways with the business.
Apple first made the Watch offered to third-party merchants through Best Purchase in the U.S., followed quickly later on by the very same chain in Canada– with other chains in Australia, France and Germany following on.
It is not, nevertheless, the first time the Apple Watch has been offered by other merchants in the UK, with well-known London department store Selfridges on board for the launch.
